Word-A-Day Akkadian

four today! Jesus, I'm lazy. (or INSANE WITH WORK. yeah.)

verbs today

sharaqum--to steal
qatanum--to be or become thin, narrow, or fine
dananum--to be or become strong
halaqum--to get lost, escape, run away, become missing; to perish

wish I had time or energy to go a little further, but not today. sad.

This is great!

I've just developed an interest in Sumeria and I think this is excellent. I'd love to join, if only to keep track of all this.

Would you be able to include a pronunciation guide? Like, which syllable do I emphasise?

I have a book on akkadian and would like to find other people with similar interests. This looked interesting but it does not seem to have been active
since 2006? Is there any where else?
